Project Manager – Structural Steel / PEB / Prefab / Modular Construction

We are looking for a hands-on Project Manager to plan, coordinate and execute projects involving relocatable structural steel sheds provided on a rental basis. The role involves project planning, site execution, manpower and material coordination, contractor management, client coordination, logistics, dismantling and relocation. The ideal candidate will have experience in structural steel erection, PEB, prefab/modular construction, industrial sheds or infrastructure projects, preferably with B2B/corporate clients.

Responsibilities

• Project Planning & Execution
• Plan and manage projects from mobilization to completion/handover.
• Prepare schedules, track progress and drive corrective actions.
• Manage multiple projects/sites simultaneously.
• Plan manpower, materials, equipment and logistics.
• Site & Contractor Management
• Regularly visit sites and monitor structural erection, roofing/covering and finishing works.
• Coordinate supervisors, contractors, erection teams and site manpower.
• Monitor productivity, quality and work progress.
• Ensure execution follows approved drawings, specifications, quality and safety requirements.
• Resolve site-level technical and execution issues.
• Material & Logistics Management
• Coordinate structural steel, covers, accessories, equipment and logistics.
• Ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment to sites.
• Coordinate mobilisation and demobilisation.
• Manage dismantling, material recovery, reuse and relocation of rental structures.
• Minimise material loss, damage and wastage.
• Client Coordination
• Coordinate directly with B2B, corporate and industrial clients.
• Manage site access, work fronts, inspections, schedules and handovers.
• Communicate project status, delays, requirements and recovery plans.
• Resolve client and site-related issues effectively.
• Project Control & Reporting
• Maintain project schedules, trackers, MIS and progress reports.
• Track manpower, materials, equipment and project costs.
• Maintain site documentation, photographs, measurements and handover records.
• Coordinate with commercial/accounts teams for billing and project documentation.
• Escalate project risks, delays and commercial implications to management.

Required Skills

• 4–8 years of relevant project execution experience.
• Experience in structural steel erection, PEB, prefab/modular construction, industrial sheds or similar projects.
• Strong understanding of site execution and construction sequencing.
• Experience managing contractors, manpower and project resources.
• Strong planning, coordination and follow-up skills.
• Experience handling B2B/corporate/industrial clients.
• Willingness to travel extensively across India.
• Good working knowledge of MS Excel, project trackers and MIS.

Qualifications

• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil, Mechanical or Structural Engineering.
