Site Engineer

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of construction methodology and site execution.
• Excellent drawing-reading and interpretation skills.
• AutoCAD proficiency.
• Knowledge of RCC and structural construction.
• Quantity estimation and measurement knowledge.
• Knowledge of construction materials and quality control.
• MS Excel / MS Office.
• Knowledge of safety standards and construction practices.
• Ability to identify and resolve technical site issues.
• Must be proficient in preparing Bar Bending Schedules (BBS) as per structural drawings and site requirements.
• Must have hands-on experience in using surveying instruments such as Auto Level and related site measurement equipments

Role & responsibilities :

• Independently supervise and manage assigned construction activities.
• Plan daily, weekly and monthly site activities.
• Ensure execution is strictly as per approved drawings and specifications.
• Supervise RCC, structural, masonry, plastering, waterproofing and finishing works.
• Coordinate with architects, structural consultants and project management teams.
• Manage contractors, subcontractors, supervisors and labour teams.
• Monitor manpower productivity and work allocation.
• Verify measurements, levels, alignment and quality of executed work.
• Identify deviations and ensure corrective action.
• Monitor material requirements, consumption and wastage.
• Coordinate with stores and procurement teams for timely material availability.
• Monitor project progress against planned schedules.
• Identify potential delays and escalate issues proactively.
• Prepare DPRs, progress reports and other project documentation.
• Maintain records related to drawings, measurements, inspections and site activities.
• Ensure proper implementation of safety procedures and site discipline.
• Conduct regular quality inspections.
• Support project management in achieving project milestones.
• Guide and mentor Junior Site Engineers and site supervisors.
